I've always had a soft spot for this cutie-pie, easily my favorite early game rodent of them all. She's like a big happy tube sock, how can you hate on that? I'm pretty salty at castle13 giving Forretress a 0, forcing her to lose the tie with this one. Ah well.

I get y'alls low scores since she's been just another basic water type until recently. Gen VI has been REALLY kind to Marrill, giving her a niche with a unique type combo, and the changes in breeding mechanics that allow for Belly Drum + Aqua Jet to run on the same set. She's always been one of my favorites, and it's nice to see Gamefreak give her a little shine. I think she deserved top 50 but I'm not as mad about this as I am about Forretress.
