Since releasing her single, ‘Here’ earlier this year and of course appearing in the ‘Girls, Girls, Girls’ issue of Hunger, South Londoner Syron has been busying herself in the studio working on new tracks. ‘Colour Me In’ sees her come out of hibernation to show us just what she’s been up to, and we get a cheeky midweek mix in the process too. Win win.
Speaking about the video Syron tells us: “‘Colour Me In’ is about wanting to be brought to life, back into colour and out of the shadows. The straitjacket in the beginning of the video is a representation of being trapped. The colour that flashes into the video as the song goes on, represents me trying to break free from that’.
