50 Cent: A has been? Kanye West: The next big thing?
w/o a doubt. By this time Get Rich would have sold 4.5 million, and The Masscare 2.5. His album is flopping w/ 1.2 million. "Straight To The Bank", "Amusement Park", and "I'll Still Kill" flopped badly, while "Ayo Technology" wasn't a smash hit, but was a hit. 50 Cent is now a has been, while Kanye is the next big thing.

#1. This whole 50 vs Kanye **** is old and played out.
#2. It's funny people who dislike an artist is quick to say they are a has been when they begin to flop.
#3. The last time I checked 1.2 million in the United States and it being 2007-2008 is amazing.

3 Things.
1. It wasn't neccessary to call me a stupid hater, and you should be getting a warning message.
2. I know it's been months, but I wanted to know he was a has been or not.
3, 1.2 might be ok, but in 50's standards it's a flop. If I was to tell him if 1.2 million was a flop or not he would say flop.

I think Kanye's sales are kinda dissapointing, yeah he opened with over 800/900k but hes only sold like a little over 2 million so far hasnt he?
but Kanye is already enjoying his peak years right now and w/e comes next if thats big, his last 2 albums were big and so is this, so i wouldnt classify him as the 'next' big thing, hes one of the big things at the moment....

No buddy, you didn't want to know. You clearly stated your opinion: "50 Cent is now a has been, while Kanye is the next big thing."
I won't get a message warning for calling you a hater. And if I do, I can guess how old you are.
As for Kanye, he's not the "next big thing". He's on a run with success, just like many other artists were. And CarCal hit it on the dot. He opened with 950k, and has only neared 2m now?

The point is Kanye is not the 'next' big thing, hes already big and has been for years, if your a Kanye fan you would know....
Your post seemed to just be putting down 50 cent in order to bring attention to your own favorite artist....

they are great artists, 50 cent was the king of rap ,, now is kanye , but 50 didnt flop, but his album curtis was not so good , graduation is better , but 50 cent is a great rapper, no doubt

Uhm Rico!..Stop being childish..No need to call someone a stupid hater randomly..think before you write..You are guilty of all these things you have listed so why the hypocrisy? You just have more sympathy for 50 cent but i'm sorry to tell you this..He has officially FLOPPED!!..His album basically did a freefall from its debut and its STILL falling as of present..1.2 million for 50cent is a massive disappointment..You as an artist are mean to improve on your past achievements not lessen it..CURTIS had mixed reviews and it is a disappointing seller so it has flopped on both critical and commercial levels..Thats it!!
