The Yeezy's did well, but his attempt at high fashion did not. It was severely panned.
Companies like Nike do not have a monopoly on the manufacturing/distribution industry. As a matter of fact, most of them contract there manufacturing out to sweatshops. There are a plethora of manufacturers one could reach out to.
Steve Jobs didn't have the million$ or connections that Kanye has. Oprah didn't have the million$ or the connections that Kanye has. They built their empires on hard work and smart moves.
P.S. Make no mistake, Beyonce is big enough that she can go it alone if she wants. That wasn't the case when she signed her deal(which she is still under), but it is now. She doesn't need a label, and she certainly doesn't need sponsors.
Sway actually seemed composed and made Kanye look (probably feel too) foolish.
