Honestly... As sad as this sounds... He is my best friend in the world. I really love him so much.
Not sad at all! At this moment my dog is in my bed, under the blanket, head on the pillow and snoring but I would never ever be without her. Dogs are nearly always better than people to be honest.

I am nearly crying as I write this, because right now I am at uni and my dog is miles and miles away... Without him I feel so lost. I don't have that one person/animal in my life who loves me so unconditionally, or who is always there when I feel like s**t.

I feel for you Summer 2012 I spent in the USA with my boyfriend, my dog took really ill and we found out she had cancer and had...days really, I had to drop everything and rush home just in time to hold her while she died, I still miss her so much I want to crawl into a ball and cry forever....at least you will see your pup at christmas! I have my Cara now but that dog, Molly, was my childhood bestfriend and I will always miss her.

I agree. We're a very 'springer' family. Have had one for a long as I can remember. He is a wonderful animal though. Genuinely. I have younger cousins and he is SO patient with them; regardless of how much they try to yank his ears
Same, I'm at BMC doing Animal Management, in my final year, woo! I got accepted to Queens for Zoology but when I realized I didn't get to touch an animal for 3 years I was like well screw that, I love what I do now.
