I wonder how Black Friday will help ARTPOP? The GP is definitely here for Do What U Want, so hopefully that translates into sales...
Maybe. I don't think it'll make it do exceptionally well, but it will help a small bit. It seems unlikely that there are any songs on ARTPOP that are GP friendly, so she pretty much is just counting on DWUW. And her promo of it is doing good. So I do think that that will be some nice backlash for her on that. I just don't think it'll make ARTPOP a major hit.

With "Applause" falling hard on radio, I could see the album doing a lot better. She needs to release the DWUW video before Thanksgiving and take advantage of Black Friday.
I don't think DWUW is going to translate all that well into album sales. It's so different from the rest of the album. It'll definitely be a very successful single though.. Should be a solid 3x Platinum seller by the end of its run.
