No they didn't. Every piece of tech that is used in the process today had to be invented by someone. Those people weren't alive 1000 years ago, and they are from all over the world. Plus, the ability to have parts shipped from different places was impossible, until planes,boats, etc was invented.

I guess it mostly with human evolution. Other types of humanoids like Homo erectus and Neanderthals weren't capable of complex things at this level. Homo sapiens had to go through a lot of events that stymied education, which is the main requirement to build things such as cellphones; those include stuff like ancient slavery, the dark age..etc. It wasn't until education was allowed for everyone to experience that the world began to boom with technology.

So yeah, it could have happened way earlier if education was given to everyone in every year prior to this one.

No one in this thread gets it. The point is that all of the resources needed to make these things have been lying dormant for centuries, waiting for a jeenyus to unlock their potential.
