Britney Jean's biggest flaw is not really the material, but the fact that it is too short of an album (even with the deluxe). We have two versions of one song on the album and an underwhelming (but still decent) first single.

For example, on Femme Fatale, I didn't use the horrid "Inside Out" and I didn't really get into "Gasoline", "Don't Keep Me Waiting", "Up and Down" and "Trip To Your Heart". I liked them and would give an occasional listen, but they weren't the ones I was repeating nonstop. But even not liking those, there were still 11 tracks I consistently jammed out to.

With Britney Jean, you dislike/don't use very often 5 tracks and you only have 5 - 7 tracks left to use. It hurts the album as a whole because people feel like they only like a handful of songs. More songs would have satisfied a larger audience in my opinion.
