Because even a small terrier could rip a cat to pieces if it was determined.

You'd have to go to the big cats, lions, leopards and tigers to defeat with some of the larger dogs.

Question of the Century, OP. I've wondered this for a long time.

They don't. They're fugly and fake and more people are allergic to cats than to dogs.
Also dogs can actually love. Cats just use you to get food and shelter. You know that if you died, most cats would eat you? Even if it's your beloved pet.

True dogs show affection more but I still think they're rather ugly 90% of the time. Plus I hate the wet feeling when they touch you with their face.

I like my cat because he's chill. Cats aren't hyper and they're much more easier to manage if you're a busy person.

Cats are cute useless animals. They're idea of "playing" is being cute while scratching the living **** out of you.

You actually feel a connection with dogs. They respond to emotions, orders, they can even talk back (of course in their own bark language lol). Everytime I'd come home from work, I'd joke around and ask my dog about his day and he'd literally bark, whine, and growl while walking around pointing his nose at where he chilled throughout the day. DOGS >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> every other pet including cats tbh!

I love both dogs and cats. I just wanted to say my cats give me a lot of attention. My one cat sleeps with me every night.

Cats are awesome. I've already decided the last 10 years of my life are going to be dedicated to going crazy and collecting cats.

We used to throw cats off staircase to watch them land on their feet.

Dogs are worse though, no one cares much about a stray cat on their property, but a loose dog gets a bullet more often than not
