Dutch singers Ilse DeLange and Waylon have been selected to represent the Netherlands during the Eurovision Songcontest 2014 in Denmark.

They will be named The Common Linnets, a pop-country duo.

In general, I'd say the latest was Lordi in 2006. We also have Sertab from 2003 and Ruslana from 2004.

But yeah, generally younger and newer acts win ESC.
