On Metacritic, both ARTPOP and Prism have managed to get a Metascore of 61. ARTPOP, however, does it with 3 more reviews.

Also on the userscore, ARTPOP manages to almost double the number of reviews of Prism, and has a much better rating.

So... What does ARTPOP have that Prism doesn't? Why is it more acclaimed, even though Prism has a bunch of mature songs?

Also, how Lady Gaga having fun equals to Katy Perry being mature?

Keep on mind that I love both artists. I'm just curious.

no one cares about userscores, they have the same metacritic score it's funny because monsters thought gags score would easily surpass prisms score

Don't reach for acclaim when there is none.

A lot more crazy stans willing to delude themselves into thinking it's a good album.

It's a better album, to be honest. I love it, while I only like the first half of "Prism." Both are good albums, but "ARTPOP" is Lady Gaga taking it to the next level yet again.

Because Kats aren't that desperate and have their lives outside internet. They have the same critic score though. The userscore is irrelevant but still if that makes you happy then cheers.
