But, if you’re Adele, then you splash the cash and get behind the wheel of a *personalised Porsche (obvs).
Now she’s rolling in the dosh, the star decided to cough up a whopping £100,000 for a Porsche Cayenne as a Crimbo pressie to herself.
Last week, the Someone Like You singer visited the Porsche Centre West London dealership in Chiswick and ordered the top-of-the range set of wheels.
It comes just weeks after the mum-of-one celebrated passing her driving test – at the grand old age of 25.
A source said: “Since passing her test, driving has become one of Adele’s favourite activities and she loves to cruise around London. She could afford to buy any mega-expensive sports car but, now she’s a mum, safety and reliability are her priorities.
“Her car is a 4x4 and extremely safe but it’s also slick and luxurious.
“She’s decided to treat herself and has joked that it’s a Christmas present after she managed to pass her test.
“The cars are custom built based on the owner’s individual *specifications so Adele has chosen the leather and stitching she prefers. She chose a black car because she doesn’t want to be noticed and can retain her privacy.
“Because the cars are custom built, she would have had to have put down a hefty deposit to secure it.
“It is now being built for her in Germany and will be shipped after Christmas with a 2014 number plate.”

She is , I guess you could say. forbes/sunday time estimated her net worth to be $45 mil,ofc that isn't all cash but it does give an idea. Also she's the main writer on all her songs and is signed to to an indie label(not in US though) so she gets a higher portion from sales than most artist on majors I believe. Anyway am sure she can afford it
