Anywayz, don't let the second week drop for ARTPOP discourage you. I remember people saying Applause would struggle to go Platinum or even Gold and it's not that far away from going 2x Platinum now (which is still kinda low but whateverrr). If the video for DWUW isn't horrible, I think things could start looking good again.
And that's why a lot of people suddenly "liked" it.

Wait though, I just remembered that after Swinefest, Retro insisted I Wanna Be Re-Written would be a hit for Gaga and I thought he was crazy Gotta give him credit I guess (even though he didn't specify it would be transformed into an infinitely superior song).
Err... the only things that were off about the song were Gaga's vocal nuances (tone and enunciation).
Gaga's vocals, the lyrics ("I Wanna Be with U" was better by far)... Plus that heavy, slightly-booming, grungy sound. It was better with just the piano.

she explained on one of the interviews recently that she got angry that Interscope kept pushing her to put IWBWU on the record just because it was a ballad and ballads were "in" right now. So she wanted to show them a real ballad... so basically it was an FU to interscope
