Exactly. Even Ellen wasn't interested. And the "I can't believe you people still like me" seemed a bit desperate. Ugh.

This is her best album, but this era is making me sad. The music was well though out (minus the new version of Aura), but the imagery & marketing isn't cohesive & is confusing tbh. She doesn't deserve any of the backlash or negativity.
Like what is the imagery theme of ARTPOP? And even though it's fun, the imagery isn't really fun...? Just my thoughts.
I thought the promo images were excellent but the album cover & booklet just don't match the promo photos at all.
The Ellen interview was nowhere near as bad as that BBC mess. In fact, it wasn't a bad interview, really. Just a tad bit awkward + Gaga would pause for a response from the audience and they would continue to be quiet. She looked adorable though. I'm sure many people (who've never seen her like that) will love the brown hair.
I was watching those Ellen videos and kept on wondering why y'all were complaining....until I saw the last one (the Fame one), where Gaga is putting all those awkward faces and tomfoolery like "Can't believe y'all still like me"
I've watched those 4 short videos on Ellen's website and I don't think it was bad.
Some answers were a bit long but at least they made sense unlike other occasions and she looked good and kinda fun.
I do agree that Ellen seemed not to be having it, though. I don't know why.
