Yes, that's a lot. Like how Taylor Swift slain with that Red's first week debut sale.
XBone sold 1 million itself in 13 countries while PS4 sold the same amount in one smallest market aka North America.

Why did so many PS3s sell this week? Have they still been selling this well in general, or were the prices reduced a lot with the arrival of PS4?

The XBone was released in various countries and sold 1 million whereas the PS4 was released in only 1 country and sold 1 million
