It was a good debut, despite the decline. With this sales climate it's really hard to sell more than 500,000 copies worldwide. She sold more around the globe than in the US.
Those are good for the current times but tragic when you consider where she's coming from. And most members of her fanbase seem to have learned something important for this era , to stop trying to compare her to others as its backfiring big time. While a few still do it. Don't be suprised next week when people are comparing her 3rd week to the second week of other girls. Just because you've already made the mistake of comparing this second week with other popstars debut weeks. You've lost the its her second/third week argument, and we all know this era is slipping fast so her 'second week' will be lower than others. You guys just always call for more draggins tbh . I never claimed her total sales were embarrassing. The US:WW ratio is however. Denying that is foolish just like it is foolish to deny Gaga's decline (though she still had the highest WW debut for a female this year hihihi). Anywayz, this is getting off topic so let's just celebrate the fact that Gaga is the only female pop star to crack 500K first week this year!
