I think all stanbases have those ignorant stans who run off at the mouth without realizing how dumb they sound. As a huge Rihanna fan, I'll defend if I feel that it's warranted(on here, most of the time it is)..but if I see someone on twitter hating on her, I'll let it slide because it's usually a Beyonce stan..and we know how sensitive they are since she's no longer musically relevant nowadays.

Soon, I'll be completely over the stan war ****. Rihanna getting the ICON award has cemented her as the premiere artist of her generation. And certain stanbases are envious that Rihanna has found success doing half of what their fave is doing..and slaying in the process. If you really think about it, after the "incident", only a weak bitch would have disappeared into obscurity..but Rihanna is strong and took it head on. It only made me love her more since RATED R. was the era that I really got into her.

Yes, I'll still shade and laugh at the shade of other artists, but going back and forth over it will stop. I don't care to invest my time into **** like that anymore. Rihanna is here to stay and people need to accept this and move on.

Imagine if Ci is presenting the Icon Award for Rih.
