I don't know if Fashion! would make a GREAT single, but it's definitely one of the only viable options left. And it's really growing on me These are the potential singles still in my eyes:
- Gypsy (ew though)
- Holyyy Dreams or G.O.D. (I can't see both as singles, they're both super sexual)
- Fashion!
Well.....I've never really felt depressed stanning for Gaga but I'm starting to now.
I just don't understand all the vitriol hate for her right now.
I think it's finally time to say goodbye to the pop/dance music, and go fully experimental. I'll miss pop Gaga SO MUCH, but no-one's buying it anymore.
Maybe she needs to switch from pop/dance to pure pop...
I wasn't expecting anything decent from her anyway, as usual she'll find a way to look unattractive and make the video struggle to even reach 60 million views.
I remember a few weeks ago when Geo and his crew were trying to convince me that ARTPOP was going to have more "longevity" than BTW, but looks like it will be more frontloaded that BTW was...
Applause got well over 100 million views so I'm not sure where this "as usual" mess is coming from.
You complain about most of the music on the album, say you don't expect anything decent from her and post hate articles on her. Why are you here when you already said you were jumping ship when the sales #s were coming in?
I doubt David Guetta was directly involved in Fashion! She's not acknowledged him at all.
Seems like Will.I.Am simply used something from a demo made with Guetta and his frequent writing collaborator (forget his name).
Exactly. They still made bank on BTW, which is going to cushion any underperformance.
You can tell that they tightened their leash a little bit with ARTPOP (be more pop, feature urban acts for cred), but the way this era is playing out makes it pretty obvious that they weren't that strict with her at all.
They need to protect their investment if nothing else. Gaga is a potentially legendary popstar with decades of profit for them, and at the very least she's an immediate lucrative cash cow that they should milk for all they can, whilst they can. Letting her bugger it up to satisfy her creative ego is wasteful from their POV. They aren't going to find another Lady Gaga.
Your posts are simply flawless
To be honest, I wish both Gaga and Interscope could read some of what you say on here.

She needs to abandon the electronic music. No one wants it anymore.
More pure pop, R&B, funk and just a tiny bit of jazz & classic rock. She is too good for this electronic mess. Swine is straight up garbage, no offense. Just the truth.

To be fair, it's a good point:
TEOG: 73.628.674
Y&I: 68.847.238
MTN: 55.229.494
They aren't exactly stellar numbers for the biggest popstar in the world...

DWUW is the perfect example of the direction she should be heading in.

Those are from 2 years ago. Why use 2 year old receipts from 3 music videos when she has 10 other music videos over 100 million including one that was released a few months ago.
Lol this ain't 2009-2011 anymore. She has lost that title (and it's her own fault). It's OK though as long as she gets it together. But with titles like "Onion Girl", I fear it's only going to get worse.
