Y'all shading Onion Girl when some stand for Judas, Heavy Metal Lover, Telephone, etc etc. Let's judge when we hear the full song.
I highly doubt Interscope will let her release Act II. I mean at some point they must have believed Act I has enough good singles to release the album or else she would have been forced to get back into the studio. But who knows, maybe she is recording some hit singles right now.
I do wonder how much control she really has. I know Interscope chose Applause for example. But can they FORCE her to record new songs? I guess so lol. And I wonder if that pisses her off?
I just fear she will leave them and fond her own record label. Which would be bad at the moment. She NEEDS people who will say what will work and what not. But I still love ARTPOP and think it's a fantastic album, I just get the impression Gaga and Interscope aren't on the same page at the moment and that is worrying imo.
All this negative press is really annoying but not surprising. She has been getting it for a while and I think Gaga didn't care. The problem this time is though that now they CAN attack her career moves. The single didn't smash as hard, the album didn't either, the video didn't set the world on fire, she is not the twitter queen etc etc etc. And I think that hurts her the most, they can talk about her body etc, but when they basically attack her talent, then it hurts.
I understand her meltdown last night but still wish she wouldn't have attacked Billboard! Out of all!! They have been very suportive to her.
One second I sing "if you're wondering know I'm not sorry" then suddenly I attack my biggest supporter. LOL
She just has to stay focused and keep going. The press will stop posting negative things if she gets stronger and stronger.
Anyway..........YAY at Applause spending another week in the Billboard Top 10! And YAY at DWUW rising to #18!!
