This is one of the best thing to come out from Gaga or any of the pop girls in the business.

love it but for whats supposed to be happy its such dark imagery and emotion. what i come to extract from watching that is her anger, frusturation, and sadness. She seems 'broken'. Even the opening seems to be purposefully unconvincing with that sad tone of voice.

I think it's more about what Gaga went through during the process of making ARTPOP.

She said during Swine she had to go to a place she never wanted to go back to etc.

Plus, she was in a dark place originally after Born This Way.

i disagree. the lyrics tie in with what i interpreted the message to be. to me, she's "freeing her mind". she's showing how through her pain and difficulty she can "withstand these things".. shes a "hybrid" of the brunette and blonde wigs. oh and the "brushes of darkness" tie in well to the image where she's covered in dirt.

They better give a short version and use it as TV Ad.
