Personally, I viewed it as the wrong choice. There were stronger ballads ("It Takes Two" and "This Moment" come to mind) as well as the obvious choice "Dark Horse". Realistically speaking, there's still enough time that this could take some very different paths:

1. It's a slow burner, similar to the run of "Locked Out of Heaven" or "Just Give Me a Reason". It'll just take some time to take off. A major performance will help it, just like all her previous singles, and prove to be a #1 success.

2. It'll receive a boost from radio (maybe a radio deal?), it'll reach around Top 10-5, then from their it could either continue on or peak.

Or

3. No matter what, it will underperform, maybe they'll pretend it never happened and change to it a "promo single", or just move onto the next song.

I guess we'll find out by the end of December where it truly stands.
