New London, Connecticut.
Connecticut is the most expensive state on the East Coast, typical place for people who are looking to retire and spend their last days just hangin out lol. Which is confusing, considering my parents are from Puerto Rico and were dirt poor when they swam their asses to this part of the shore
Anyway, New London used to be a ghetto when I was a kid. I remember living in an area called Crystal Avenue and I would hear screams at night. My dad was the head drug dealer of the town at the time (he changed his ways once he got caught and got out of jail three years later). Now New London is just calm most of the time, things have been getting rebuilt. I guess, idk people of higher order, doesn't want New London to be known for being a ghetto, consideirng towns like New Haven (includes East Haven & West Haven) and Bridgeport in Connecticut are the most dangerous places in the state. New London's very walkable, it's basically a big circle. No matter the reputation though, it's alway busy downtown, especially at night. Two gay clubs at each end of downtown and in between is one straight bar and food shops. Lots of antique stores and pizza shops.

I can't think of much good to describe it.
It's all you hear about EVERYDAY. Cannot wait for it to stop!
