Y&I video was long and it made the song shot to top10; TEOG video was short and did NOTHING (it was also ****, but hey, it was just to point out that long/short doesn't mean anything). + the photographer is the one who directed Wrecking Ball aka the most talked about video of the year + record-breaking.

Well I don't mean to throw salt in the wound, but I'm a but underwhelmed by ARTPOP's numbers, maybe we just had our expectations too high; I'm not one of the chart obsessed people but going from Born This Way's 700k (minus the Amazon sales) to 259k is a bit sad, was it the lack of promo? was it the music? was it because people still have Born This Way Gaga in their mind? Or was it a lack of support from the fanbase?

It's gonna be another one those videos that egt great numbers first week and then people just stop watching. Like the BTW video. So little streaming points after the first week. Nobody got time to sit through 8 minutes of bull for 4 minutes of music

everything but the music tbh. I was underwhelmed too, i expected 400k at least before release. but hey, it doesn't change how I feel about the music. Maybe part 2 will do better

People are going to take more convincing to buy back into Gaga than a moderate hit accompanied by little noticeable change in image, approach or persona.
