ok so i was wondering if the wii u has that shop channel that the wii had where you can buy old N64 games? and can you use the gamecube controller on the wii u if it does have that channel?

cause i do not want to buy a damn wii to play old N64 classics AND a Wii U to play all the new games.

You cannot use a gamecube controller on the Wii-U.

As to the games. Some are on the e-shop, or you play them using the Wii mode.

whats wii mode? and can you use the little controller that comes with the wii u to play the N64 games?

I honestly have not tried.

...but on the main Wii-U menu you should have an option to boot into Wii mode. I do it all the time to play older games.

ok i just need to know if i can transfer/buy N64 on the wii U. i read u can transfer titles you bought on the wii to the wii u but i need 100% confirmation.

N64 games will eventually transition to the Wii U e-shop, but you can go into Wii mode for now and purchase the titles there.

You can access Wii mode from the main menu,
or hold the B button on your gamepad after you turn on the console to automatically boot into Wii mode.

On your menu it's the button that says "Wii"
