The second biggest Israelian newspaper has revealed the results of a national study, which showcases a significant increase for the name Adele (אדל in Hebrew) among the newborn baby girls in Israel.

In fact, Adele "אדל" was the eighth most popular name given to a baby girl in 2012.


The study also shows that there were almost five times more girls named after Adele "אדל" in 2012 than there were in 2010, and three times more than in 2011. Here is a more specific graph showing the massive increase in popularity.
