considering 80% of android tablets are cheap as can be and made by about 1000 different companies idk why this is surprising

Apple was 75% market leader.. Like with the smartphone marketshare, Android OS and her products, have dramatically halted Apple's potential growth margins. Imagine if those 50% extra prospects had instead opted for a cheap ipad mini instead.. Apple, her loss.

I'm sorry ipads are beautiful but the reductive/restrictive ios ecosystem! If they could ever let my male privates breathe like Google and Microsoft, then I might consider them in the future.

Apple one company is in completion with a collage of companies. That alone is amazing. There's Apple then everything else.

Apple is expensive but it's the most desired tablet. To compete with Apple you need cheaper tablets. Which is why android is doing well and Microsoft not so much.

Lenovo makes good android tablets.

Samsung too but it's expensive. Nexus 7 remains superior hardware to price ratio although i must admit the iPad really looks fantastic too bad it's overpriced

It's okay tho because the Nokia Lumia 2520 is coming to save pop music, and is in stores Thursday.

I don't why people say this. Like, I can basically do as much as I do on my Mac, on my iPad.

I can torent & download my files directly (like mp3's, movies etc) with no Jailbreak.

I stream stuff through apps easier (and I can download shows/movies through iPlayer etc. which you can't do on android etc.), check my e-mails, type my documents and surf the web (plus more which I don't do).

People act like iOS is extremely limited, but it's not. It's just like MacOS, it's designed for the user not a clean slate for the user to build.

Most people like an out of the box experience (hence why the Kindle Fire is the best selling Android tablet) rather than a clean slate like a Nexus or Windows Tablet etc.

You obviously didn't read my "for better or worse remark" I don't care that Samsung is the reason Apples shares have tumbled.. That's also the case with smartphones. I'm just reporting the facts. Samsung although having the worst android skin, helped the Google os dominate. Excuse my bipolar approach as a consumer but I much rather actually have an iPad over a touch wiz infested android tablet. But lucky for me I don't have to be a sheep and buy the bigger badder trend.. Asus LG and Sony have intriguing android tablets but tbh ipads still have the best build quality. I'm not on board with a single android tablet if I'm going tbh. ;p windows actually looks more inticing..
