I don't know, but I'm guessing that itunes + other big online stores are the quickest to report, which would explain the discrepancy between the first 33% and the second 35%. The first load would include the 100k preorders as well as a good chunk of the "new" sales of the week.

These are not polling station results though. 69% means 69% of retailers reported, not 69% of overall sales counted. If they knew what 69% of overall sales were, why not just post the overall sales. Different amount of sales at different retailers. 10% of retailers could be responsible for 100k sales, why another 10% could be responsible for like 10k sales. The final number will be close to predictions most likely, so no need to have meltdowns just yet.
