^If I remember correctly, Mariah's last album sold near 10 million copies WW, while Madonna sold somewhere near 8 million copies...
There is no way Seiko can be considered "Queen."

Ayumi is indeed Japan's Queen Of Pop. I like other Japs pop stars music better but Ayumi is the Queen. No contest here.
As for Madonna and Mariah...

sold 9 million copies; 6 million from domestic market and another 3 million from the rest of the world.

LMAO. Just as Madonna has the title "Queen Of Pop," that certainly doesn't connotate quality or sales (wut does it mean?). It just seems to be a title.
