Adele, P!nk, Bruno, Katy, Gaga JT to perform Beatles special
Quote:
I note with interest that the Hollywood Reporter has now filed on the special marking 50 years since The Beatles first appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show, called The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute to the Beatles.
As previously reported here, this will take place the day after the Grammys.
But what the US press does not know -and we do- is who will appear at the concert.
Brian Walsh revealed all at the recent Foxtel Upfronts:
“An all-star line-up headed up by Sir Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono and George’s wife Olivia Harrison, along with some of the biggest names in music such as Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Adele, Bruno Mars, P!nk and Katy Perry will gather to celebrate and perform the songs of The Beatles,” he said.
“What a show that will be. And it’s only on Foxtel next year.”
Sounds cool :O If this is in the US then it makes it even more likely I hope Grammys and this will be the time where Adele announces her third album and lead single I can see it already
AND ADELE! Hopefully she's performing and not just showing up but I'll take anything at this point. Since it's the night after the Grammys, hopefully that means she'll be debuting her new single the night before.
This is def going to happen , I knew Adele wouldn't miss out on this. I still hope she does Baby Its You , it was just perfect ....can't wait for Grammy 2014 also, this year was a bit boring in music next year is when the action is
