Good, their beauty products are crap with toxic preservatives and emulsifiers and insignificant amount of active ingredients. And they test on animals. If I were as rich as she is, I'd turn it down, too.
good for her if she doesn't believe in doing it for no reason other than money. she's such a cool chick. talk about a superstar you'd wanna be pals with.
The offer was probably for 19 million because they know she doesn't do these things and they really wanted to get her so they offered her a deal "she couldn't refuse" (though she did). Plus let's not act like Adele wouldn't have brought huge appeal to the brand. She's universally loved and appeals to all women and they knew that. Plus she's one of the most noticeable names out there right now. Of course she would have been offered shitloads of money.
But she won't miss that money anyways. She'll likely earn double to triple that with the next album and tour.
Her decision is very respectable imo, and I can understand why.
And she sure as hell has earned enough money at this point. She might just as well have rejected the offer if it was a BILLION they were going to give her. She doesn't need it.
Adele doesn't want to be famous. She doesn't like to be center of attention. I'm not surprised, she usually stands by her word. I don't think she'll ever do endorsements.
