Im, 24, left the X Factor contestants' afterparty about 2am, where she met Sony CEO Denis Handlin: "He congratulated me and said he'd take good care of me."
She also chatted with representatives from reality show mogul Simon Cowell's British production company Syco, who "said we could think about doing something worldwide".
"It was only a brief chat but they really loved my performance and maybe let's see what we can do internationally. Pretty scary!"
Im will formally meet Sony representatives this afternoon to discuss her immediate future. She will go into the meeting with a clear idea of the kind of artist she wants to be and the kind of record she wants to make.
"I want to sing feminine beautiful songs, like Whitney Houston, something heartfelt and warm, big ballads, even fast pop tunes but something that can be enjoyed and also touch people. Songs that people really remember, so when you listen back you feel how you felt when you first heard it."
