I do think HITS take into consideration promo spots when coming up with these predictions. BUT I don't think they really dig deep like that because most of the time, with or without promo, their projections are damn close.
I could see them lowering the predictions just based on it falling from #1 on iTunes.
I was expecting it to be lowered based on that honestly, but if SNL can theoretically add 10k, maybe it stays flat.

waiT, Gaga only has two tracks in the top 100 on iTunes, and neither of them (which are both singles) are in the top 10 yet? This is a definitely a non-event album. When an album is destined for huge success first week, the album tracks cluttered the top 100. Eminem has like 6 tracks still in the top 100 in his second week. Billboard is definitely low-balling Em.
