the criticism i've seen has had more to do with the way she portrays women of color in the video, some of the sl-ut shaming lyrics, etc.
My problem with it is that she's tearing it down to bring herself up and it's highly unimaginative. It's not just some parody Blurred Lines video made by college students. This is a real recording artist making a clichéd song and video. It's boring.
