But people are right, Gaga only said she wasnt a single artist when 'Applause' didn't go #1. But now the album is only doing 260-275k (which is not bad numbers, but would be more if she was an album seller) I think the album will sell steadily just like all Rihanna's albums, but I can see Gaga getting selling at least1.5M in the U.S at the end of the era or maybe more because she does promtoe her ass off.

This album run is very similar to Unapologetic. Low first week single sales, supplemented by longevity, collab 2nd single. Average for pop 1st week numbers. Hopefully she can keep trucking along with decent numbers every week. I don't think that the HQ leak a week early was great for sales.

Diamonds is a smash hit + iconic and Stay sold more than it. plus Unapologetic went #1

Unapologetic went #1 during the busiest sales week of the year, not to mention Diamonds went #1 for 3 weeks and went triple platinum based on sales, and slayed worldwide, selling 8 million copies globally. Not to mention Stay sold even more than Diamonds in the US and went #3 on the Hot 100. Pour It Up went platinum. And Rihanna didn't do nearly as much promo for Unapologetic as Lady Gaga did for ARTPOP.
