Not really - there's a difference between an insult and constructive criticism of a piece of work.

To say she insulted her makes it sound like she came at Selena with malicious intent when in fact she was just commenting on lyrics - lyrics Selena didn't even write herself in the first place.

Swift wanted the hot Latina as a friend to bolster her showbizzy/Hollywood credentials but now that Swift's status has risen Selena has little use, as far as "team Swift" is concerned.

Now the management wants Swift to hang out more and more with serious-deemed "musician" types for status purposes. Which is also why a couple of weeks ago Swift rushed all of a sudden to be seen with the singer-songwriter that allegedly inspired Katy and Dr Luke to create the sounds of "Roar".
