US is a brilliant country in a lot of ways imo.
people gripe about the politics and injustices, but i've been all over the world, that stuff exists in every country i've been too/lived in.
As a financially secure citizen or visitor, US if fine, and has plenty to offer. It is theorized that, one of the reason US citizens are so much less traveled than people from other first worlds, is because there's no reason for them to leave the country. There are beaches, deserts, forests, glades, tundras, cuisine from all over the world (in large quantity), historical sites, museums, theme parks, architecture, casinos, theatre, skiing, surfing .... beautiful seasons...numerous cultures.
