She isn't attending the EMAs at all. The writing on the picture says '... seat card at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles'. The EMAs are taking place in Amsterdam, not LA.
That's my guess. I mean... With all this talk of new music this week alone, it's very likely. She could be presenting, but I don't think she'd come out of hiding for a minor award show like this (as opposed to shows like the Grammys, the American Music Awards, etc.) unless she had something to say.
