let me just say regardless of whether or not Gaga's music is 'revolutionary' like you said Gaga is a pop writer, she writes pop music, is a pop musician. If you're degrading her music, you're degrading all pop. and pop doesn't have to be frowned upon. I think the fact that she WRITES her own pop music, calls herself a pop musician, is more than enough to be revolutionary in a time where most artists don't write half their music, and are marketing machines built up by promotional teams. The fact that Gaga takes it that one step further maybe even two steps further by creating technology, fashion and making performance art, puts her ahead of any other artist in the pop scene as that alone is revolutionary, none of the pop girls music ALONE is revolutionary. Pop music has already been revolutionized, you take this all to serious, I honestly don't even know why you're in this thread, you're clearly just jealous that your fave, doesn't have half the creativity that Gaga does.

I do commend Gaga with ARTPOP though for not following current trends, and creating something unique in it's own right at this current time in pop music. - Degrading GaGa for not just focusing on music when Rihanna has a fashion line, movies & fragrances.

- Calling GaGa's music not "new" when Rihanna makes recycled pop / R&B songs all the time especially with mostly filer track listing just so she can release a album based off a few smashes ala TTT & Unapologetic.

- Talking about GaGa's crazy outfits that she uses for sales and **** and how it's not working when Rihanna LITERALLY changes her persona, look, and music to fit whatever trend shes going for, she was never RATCHET from the beginning and guess what its catching up and her ratchet look is getting old, maybe thats why shes not releasing her YEARLY ALBUM to reinvent herself ... or was there was to much competition?

That's nice. It is important to me. I'm not only a Gaga stan for her music but also everything else that comes along with her; the crazy outfits, her art etc. If Gaga wants to do something as creative and amazing as this then who are you to say that she shouldn't. You act like her job is to solely sing and forget about everything else. I couldn't care less if people call it a gimmick.

i think it's funny when people say gaga tries too hard, because oftentimes it seems like she's the only one trying at all.

and as someone with a small, quiet life i prefer my celebrities to be bold, colorful, and adventurous. i love her passion for all of it.
