After taking over the music industry for the past two years, Disney is now starting to take over the game industry.

Later 2006 Disney released Hannah Montana Game for Nintendo DS that slowly sold around 800.000 copies just in US.

In May 2007 Disney released a game called Spectrobes that sold 700.000 copies in the first month.

Later 2007 Disney released High School Musical games for DS and PS2, both games are reaching 1.000.000 copies in no time.

For 2008 Disney is preparing a lot of new games as HSM3, HM THE MOVIE, SPECTOBRES 2, AMONG OTHERS.

So after the taking over the music industry, do you think Disney can take over the game industry too??

I dunno but I don't think they are real. After all video games sell fastest with the adult community (Call of Duty 4, Assassin's Creed, Halo, GTA) so it's not exactly domination.

Disney may be taking over the games industry of 12 and under but I assure you they will never make a dent in the mainstream game society.

I saw the Hannah Montana game in a store today and it made me want to take all the copies and burn them for the good of everyone else .

High School Musical and Hannah Montana = 2 of the BIGGEST franchises in America right now. I work at Target and I scan one or two items from them per hour.

It's just a $mart move for Mickey and suits.
