I loved the Venus performance, especially the bridge and how she walked upon the stage like a lunatic angel. But DWUW slayed me entirely. Her energy, her vocals, her expression!

It's perfect. I love DWUW so much and the instrumental is divine. So soothing and yet so energetic at the same time. #Beautiful

Listening for the FIRST TIME right now

I'm listening for the fourth time now, and I still can't believe it. I usually don't pay much attention to details of the production but this time even I noticed how flawlessly made this album is.
I am so overwhelmed by the album. I don't dislike any song. I am a little disappointed by Swine as it lacks the aggressiveness, the outrage of the Swinefest live version. And I feel like MJH is the Bad Kids of ARTPOP: clearly not as horrid as many suggest but not really outstanding, either. The new lines added to the Sexxx Dreams chorus still confuse me a little but I love nonetheless. It's so catchy, sexy, and flirty and yet so honest, lustful and pure.

I love G.U.Y. and MANiCURE and their easiness, their effortlessness. I live for the hot messes that are Donatella and Fashion! They are so extravagant that you true feel fine just by listening. And then when the album is almost over the actual ARTPOocalypse begins: I was bored to death by DOPE at the iTunes festival but THIS very version is raw and human. I love how she kept it so simple and short and I can totally see it be the Y&I of this album. I actually could imagine it being the fourth single and snatching a Grammy. And then: GYPSY. I seriously meltdown when I heard it for the first time yesterday. It only happened once before that I was moved to tears by a studio version (with Halo) but yesterday it happened again. It's freeing, it's empowering, it's loving, it's Gaga at her best, and if does not get released as a third single or at least fourth then I start chasing not only the sunset but members of Interscope.
