Yes at Kelly's second week of Xmas album sales topping Avril's opening week. This is the ultimate receipt.

The old Avril was ok. But she just never really changed her style, actually she became more childish when she became older and that's probably why people started to be annoyed by her.

I don't follow her so I can't disagree/agree with you. All I know is that her songs used to have great meaning (and she wrote flaw-free Breakaway) compared to the newer ones.

‘WRAPPED’ ATTENTION: Kelly Clarkson is having the kind of chart week most artists can only dream about and it’s all thanks to her new seasonal release, Wrapped in Red. The set bows at No. 1 on Top Holiday Albums and 12 of the 14 tracks make their debut on the Holiday/Seasonal Digital Songs chart, including “Silent Night,” which opens in pole position, replacing Clarkson’s version of “White Chrstmas.” That Christmas classic spent the last two weeks in the penthouse.

Joining Clarkson at No. 1 are two featured artists on “Silent Night” -- her mother-in-law, Reba McEntire, and Trisha Yearwood.

By securing first place on both the holiday albums and singles charts, Clarkson brings her total number of chart-toppers to 89. She maintains her lead as the Idol with the most Billboard No. 1s.

Wrapped in Red debuts on three other lists. It’s No. 3 on The Billboard 200 and Top Internet Albums and it’s No. 7 on Top Digital Albums. Red is Clarkson’s eighth album to appear on The Billboard 200 and the sixth to reach the top three. Clarkson’s chart span expands to 10 years, six months and two weeks, counting back to the debut of Thankful the week of May 3, 2003.

Clarkson’s 12 debuting tracks on the Holiday/Seasonal Digital Songs chart dominate the list, holding down six of the top seven positions. After “Silent Night,” here are Clarkson’s 11 other new entries:

Clarkson sold a lot of product last week, and it wasn’t all holiday-related. Her Greatest Hits: Chapter One rockets 184-72 on The Billboard 200. It’s the highest position for this collection in five months, since it ranked No. 71 the week of June 15. And the studio album Stronger returns to the tally at No. 84.
