On NBC, the first The Voice results show earned a series low 2.7 adults 18-49 rating. Sean Saves the World earned a series high 1.7, up six tenths from last week's 1.1 adults 18-49 rating. The Michael J Fox Show scored a 1.3, up two tenths from last week's series low 1.1 adults 18-49 rating. Parenthood earned a 1.5, up three tenths from last week's 1.2 adults 18-49 rating .

But hey, it aired on a Thursday against The Big Bang Theory, which everyone knows is a monster in ratings. I'd say it did pretty well.

I guess they need to bring back Teeth of our Generation Shakira.

I don't think S4 was a flop at all, the show did well as it always does, but these comparisons that both stanbases keep doing are useless.

Both seasons are doing good, why keep arguing?

I wish it was this easy....but gotta understand when season 4 had the lowest rating....the xtina fans made multiple threads celebrating...SO BELIEVE Me, ive been waiting for this day for months now.

Things can get a little intense. I believe they were "celebrating" because right before that they saw some Shakira fans making multiple threads about how The Voice was now Shakira's show and how Christina didn't matter anymore. All I can say is both sides are wrong.

It's no surprise that The Voice's ratings decline on the live shows, it's just how it goes. It's still doing well and I'm sure it'll continue like that in S6.

Last night’s Thursday Night Football game (Redskins/Vikings) was simulcast on the NBC affiliate in Washington. As a result, the NBC may be inflated and subject to more than typical adjustments in the finals.

Of course it declined. It was up against The Big Bang Theory, the BIGGEST SHOW IN THE COUNTRY. Numbers will go up next week
