Lisa & Jess from The Veronicas have revealed that they've split from their long-time record company Warner Music to better focus on the music that they want to release.
"We're actually emacipated from our record label now so we're free, so it's incredibly exciting," Jess revealed.
"It means we actually get to release music, it means that we're in creative control of the rest of our careers and we don't have someone dictating what we can and can't do."
The girls also revealed that we can expect to hear some new music from them very soon.
"We're releasing a new record hopefully around February, a single in February," Jess told Kyle and Jackie O.

I like trolling my Aussie hipster friend by talking about how I'm so glad that her country has turned out such great music from the likes of The Veronicas and sometimes I put their music on and I'm like "your homeland's music is so good."
I don't think it's even a lead single anymore. It's probably not gonna be on the album either.
Lolita was never intended as a lead single.

Was Lolita intended as the first single off the third record?
