None of them are yet. They need to be relevant for 10-15+ more years.

Christina stans are so delusional. Gaga and Bey are are on such a level of iconic, that it's basically legendary already. Rihanna is obviously iconic too, even more than Christina.

Constantly referenced. Constantly relevant. Constantly analysed, written about, making headlines. They are pop culture icons definitely.

Beyonce is the only iconic one of them cause she has been in the business so long.
Rihanna and Gaga are on their way.

The irony.
You can't tell who's gonna be an icon and who will be remembered for decades after leaving the music field. You can only tell who has the chance. Beyonce, P!nk, Justin Timberlake, Gwen with No Doubt and a few others have been in the industry for 10+ years and managed to stay relevant. They are not the ones who are in the media every day but they always come as a great force and it's possible for them to maintain an acclaimed career, which can lead them to become an "icon" at the very end.

It's one thing to say Christina isn't an icon over say Britney, which I wouldn't agree with, but that point of view could be explained. But P!nk? No lol. There's a reason why no one but her fans think that way. And Pink has not been relevant for ten years plus. She's better now but when she was flopping in the mid 00s, she completely lost any kind of relevance. It makes no sense to constantly rewrite history and act like that never happened
Christina was here for 12 years before she had problems commercially. And even in her down period now, she's maintained much better relevance now than Pink did while she was flopping

You can be an icon in half a decade. Michael, Madonna, Janet, Cyndi, Britney and countless others became one that quickly. And I think Christina falls in this list too because she won competitive Grammys (P!nk never) and CA and Stripped eras were very successful and had/has impact. P!nk was always and will always be a non factor (sorry, I love her, but it's true). P!nk doesn't even have a song that's a staple in 21st century pop music. ALL of her peers do. Even Avril Lavigne . Also, I think it's a huge strech to say P!nk's career is more impressive than some of her peers. Remember, she was just a one album wonder before 2006 while her peers were releasing successful albums back and forth.

I didn't say P!nk is an icon. She can be if she can maintain her career. Her tours always will be memorable but how would you know that when you probably haven't been to any of her gigs.
And you - Christina fans - are the same, you keep clinging to the Legend X title but for what? The majority doesn't even remember her since Hurt. She's not iconic but I didn't say she couldn't be either.

Those were other times. Now it's way harder to archieve anything long-lasting effect because of the music industry.
And come on, P!nk had no impact? She had the biggest impact on Stripped, without her that album wouldn't exist. And who said P!nk's career is more impressive than her peers? I didn't.

YES, tbh...
Except Kelly, she has a lot of hits and has sold a lot of albums, etc... but she isn't iconic, IMO.
And idk about Katy either, but I'm gonna say yes because I like ha
