but I'm still building my Y team to complete standards and haven't even started X. and I'm getting HeartGold soon.

You get 31 boxes. You just have to have at least 1 Pokemon in each box to unlock more.

So I had a trip back and forth to NYC from my boyfriends place in New Hampshire today, and we're going again tomorrow because I won tickets to see Jimmy Fallon...

...and my 3DS and Pokemon Y are back in Boston. I'm here struggling and reading books when I could be breeding a Gastly
