The ballads from the girls this year have been absolutely stunning. I think this album is lovely. Hello Kitty is a curve-ball, but a fun interval. Avril has such an emotional voice for slower songs. I love the first line of Give You What You Like and the song is hauntingly beautiful. I was surprised by her and expected an album full of Here's to Never Growing Up. I am loving the progression and it was definitely a pleasant surprise. On some sites Let Me Go didn't receive positive praise, but it is lovely and one of the best duets I have heard in a long time. Maybe not as epic as Meatloafs It's All Coming Back to Me Now, or as infectious as Brian and Mel's When Your'e Gone, but it is still nice.

I hate reading reviews on itunes saying how since she is cursing in her songs now it makes her music bad. She's always cursed in a few of her songs. Idiots.
I went to a OneRepublic concert and before they start perfoming, Queen Avril's self-titled singles was being played in repetition. They are showing the music video too in the small screens not the main screen. Until, they showed her music videos on the main screens and it is accompanied by what appears to be a concert announcement here in our country on February 17th. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Free promo for the single and album XD

#11 in the UK isn't bad. she doesn't have radio support, she isn't a huge force in the UK, she isn't a popular UK boyband, she doesn't cater to middle-aged women. she didn't even really have a hit this era.

My friend who's with me asked why was it so cheap. I said, "Because she's a flop nowadays."
The highest price of Avril Lavigne tour was just half of the highest price of Taylor's Speak Now tour. I discovered because my friend went there back in 2011..

hopefully she promotes here and has longevity
It's like you said her flopping isn't bad because she is a flop anyway.
By the way her first 3 albums did nicely in UK, especially Let Go.

she isn't flopping, most of the artists shes being blocked by are UK artists, 3 of which are releasing highly anticipated debut or sophomore albums. she's doing very well considering i don't think they stocked her album at any of the big supermarket chains
