The demo's how they measure the success of a show. Old people don't matter to them, ads do. That's why on rating sites like Deadline, and Zap, The Voice was the #1 show of the night.
Anyways DWTS was adjusted down - Monday Final TV Ratings: 'Dancing With the Stars' and 'Castle' Adjusted Down; Which means the show did better last week. Source - http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/201...ge-3/#comments

nnnnn I know how ratings work. But total viewers wise DWTS still beat the Voice. That's all the OP was trying to say.

I was talking about total viewers from the very beginning, lol. The Voice can be number one, but that doesn't mean more people actually watched it.
To put it bluntly: More people (in totality) are interested in watching Cher than Christina. Sorry.
The DWTS Cher tribute rocked! Loved the songs they chose and Cher was (of course) so funny and cute, and of course Cher always draws the ratings (her Farewell Tour concert was viewed by 17 mill)!
