I was listening to music on my free account of Spotify and then in the top-right corner a countdown started, once it ended after over half an hour, the free program refused to play the music cause I "used my 10 hours per month", now- are they telling me I won't be able to listen to anything until the end of the month unless I buy the premium account?
since when is that rule working, cause I'm listening to Spotify for months, everyday for at least an hour so it would be impossible for it to show up just now..
After the trial, Spotify has a listening limit of 10 hours per month, divided into 2.5 hour weekly portions (unused hours carry over).[21] The only locations exempt from this rule are the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia, where ad-supported unlimited streaming continues on Spotify Free.
I'm good cause I'm in the US where the ads supported free version doesn't have a time limit! Thank you Lord!
^ in Poland, so I guess they favor some countries while discrediting the others, I could understand the case if I hadn't had the ads as well, but I do have them I think I'll just go back to good sis iTunes

You have ads AND a time limit? That's not fair at all! Glad I'm not getting screwed over!
is it similar to Spotify? does it stream music from which you can specify and pick what you want to listen to, or is it just a radio based on a genre?

thanks for the answer by the way, and I'm afraid they are really limiting the free account from now on
Yes you can pick what you want, also you don't have to install anything and there are also songs which are not available on Spotify. I don't really use it that much tho, since I usually have the music I want downloaded or I use youtube.
You can try & see if u like it http://grooveshark.com/

if me and Grooveshark won't like each other I might actually think about that
Well that stinks God thing my country has no time limit I would definitely recommend checking out the premium subscription tho with the free trial (if you can, put the credit card as an empty gift card and they will give you an extra month while trying to get you to put money in )
