Lorde is rocketing to pop stardom — but apparently doesn’t want David Guetta’s help.

A new FasterLouder profile of the 16-year-old singer includes an interesting moment when Lorde’s manager tells her that the EDM star would like her on his next album.
She replies, “No. F*ck no. He’s so gross.”
Of course, the outspoken teenager is no stranger to public disputes.
Never mind that David Guetta has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry – think Kelly Rowland, Akon, Sia and Usher.
But Lorde, who has been described a breath of fresh air to the music industry, is content with doing her own thing, and is no stranger to causing a stir during her rapid rise to stardom.
She has dissed more than a few of the biggest names in pop music.
"I feel like the influences that are there in the industry for people my age, like Justin Bieber or whatever, are just maybe not a very real depiction of what it's like to be a young person," she told MTV News in July.
Cue the backlash from the Beliebers!
She has also criticized Selena Gomez for her anti-feminist lyrics – "I'm a feminist, and the theme of her song is, 'When you're ready come and get it from me'. I'm sick of women being portrayed this way."
She also stepped on a few toes when she said that Taylor Swift is "so flawless" and represents a beauty that is "so unattainable".
Lorde's hit 'Royals' is currently sitting at #1 on the US Billboard chart, and her 'Pure Heroine' album is at #5.
