Yes, they're beneficial for increasing her presence as a celebrity.
At the same time, she's going to need to try harder in regards to her actual music career, because basically every major Pop star is putting more effort than her. Lady Gaga has been hyping her album for like 1-2 years. Katy Perry has been steamrolling single releases as if she's a pro at securing hits. Miley upstaged everyone.
Shakira's last 2 English albums have basically bombed, aside from career-sustaining hits like "Hips Don't Lie" and "Waka Waka" which saved the day. It would be nice for once to have an album era where she can get consecutive hits rather than going into emergency mode when a song underperforms.
